If one wants to feel the soul of Varanasi let us take the opportunity to take you to River Ganga, a boat trip is essential and a beautiful life experience. Varanasi is built on the western curve of the holy River Ganga. The name Varanasi is derived from the names of two rivers, Varuna and Asi, which meet the Ganga on the northern boundary. Being rowed by boat up or down the river, one can see the ghats dotted with temples. Sunrise in Varanasi is famous alsoknown as Subah - e - Banaras and to enjoy this fully, one should visit the riverfront at sunrise time. During this time people come to bathe and to pray. These rituals remind us of the importance of worship so prevalent in India.
Boat tours can be enjoyed between 05:00-18:00. If you have any special requirements, please let us know. We will do our best to assist you!

The tour will be headed by our knowledgeable English-speaking guide who meets you at your hotel or guest house and takes you to almost every important ghat in a clean, hand-rowed private boat. We afford you sufficient time to share with you the interesting history of the ghats and their activities. At the end of the boat trip, you may wish to enjoy a short walking tour in the old part of the city.
Please Note: Do not carry any important or valuable goods on tour. Please remain sensitive to taking photographs at some particular spots (our guide will advise you well in advance where not to take pictures). Respectful dress is also appreciated. Donations, tips or vehicle services (e.g. pickup & drop-off to faraway hotels or guesthouses) are not included in this tour.
